A Bit About Me
I’m a tattoo artist born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. I have been an artist since I was old enough to be able to hold a pencil but I’ve been tattooing since I started my apprenticeship in March of 2023. Since then I have worked diligently to perfect my artistic abilities in order to provide a wide array of knowledge and expertise to my clients. I have spent a lot of time learning from some of the most well trained and knowledgeable tattoo artists in this city and abroad, in order to ensure that I learned the proper ins and outs of the tattoo industry. From knowing how to maintain a professional and clean environment, to using proper tattoo techniques & design methods, I have strived to become the most well rounded artist I can be in order to ensure I can meet my clients needs every time. I take a lot of pride in pouring my heart and soul into not only refining my technical ability of this but also creating detailed high quality original artwork as well.
Work Experience
March 2023 - July 2024
July 2024 - June 2025
I started as an apprentice at what was at the time a start up shop in Bellevue, Ne called Blak Sheep Tattoo Co. I would create flash, make advertisements, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop. I started learning by practicing off of fake skin and honey dew melons, while I shadowed my mentor. Eventually I moved from fake skin to real skin starting small working my way up to larger pieces. By month 9 I was a full time artist, no part time jobs just me and my passion making it work.
I eventually built up enough of my portfolio that I was able to start at a bigger name shop in West Omaha called Eye Candy West. I no longer had the responsibilities of an apprentice and was able to focus more on refining my skills as an artist. With more walk-ins and one on one experience with all the different artists in the shop, I was able to experiment with so many different styles/ techniques of tattooing which in turn allowed me to greatly expand my skill set. I had the opportunity to work on bigger pieces, experiment with color more, learn how to create difficult textures, learn new techniques, and expand my knowledge on tattoo design. I became a lot more confident in my abilities to take any work thrown my way weather it was fineline or Neo-traditional I am ok with it all.
May 2025 - Present
Working in a shop setting is an amazing experience that I think all tattoo artists should have under their belt at some point in their career but I knew that my dream was to be a business owner and have my very own art studio (not just for tattoos). The vision for me has always been to model my LLC after my own values and creative endeavors. Today as a freelance artist I work day in and day out to refine my artistic skills (with a focus in realism) as well as curate my own tattoo style that is detailed, high quality, and unique to me as an artist. Hopefully one day I will be recognized for my unique style and artistic vision.
